As a licensed cosmetologist for 23 years and a salon owner for 11 years, Josie Thomas decided to spread her wings and pursue a life long passion --- decorating/design. For years, clients, have told her that she have a keen eye for design and now her heart is sending the same message. Henceforth, Timeline Home Interiors was founded.
Josie Thomas has a B.A. degree in Organizational Communication and she have studied decorating and design in her spare time. She had the wonderful opportunity to live and work in Okinawa, Japan for three years where she freelanced in design and decorating. One regret about spending time in Japan is that she didn't bring back a tractor trailer load of oriental rugs. The country and the people will always be etched in her heart for the beauty and the serenity of the land.
As a designer, she bring to the table a strong background in salon design and planning. As a member of the Board of Barbers and Cosmetology, one of her many duties involves doing salon inspections which allows her to view different and unique salon styles. She have designed for clients, a vast variety of salon layouts from spare bedrooms, garages, strip malls to a 4600sq. ft. day spa. The potential for salon layouts are unlimited and salons today are moving toward a warm and intimate atmosphere. The years of the cold salon decor is over and salon owners are using more color and accessories than ever before.
Timeline Home Interiors truly listen to our clients and their spirit when incorporating design because the ultimate goal is for the client to feel at home. The space should feel safe and comfortable for all that dwell there and give a sense of peace for all that enter.
